This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the project, including supervising the design team, interacting with the client, and coordinating with review agencies to deliver projects on schedule and within budget. Presentations to various Municipal councils will be required. Job Description

Understand clients’ expectations and verify that the scope addresses all the requirements.
Coordinate with review agencies to ensure our design meets local requirements and protects the public while still delivering value to the client.
Lead a team of engineers, EITs, CAD technicians, consultants, and support staff in a team environment.
Mentor young engineers and EITs.
Balance workload to coordinate several public projects concurrently, including prioritizing tasks and deadlines.
Provide quality assurance and quality control feedback.
Represent the company in business development activities with potential clients and community leaders.
Ensure that plans, calculations, and specifications are comprehensive and accurate.
Communicate effectively with the design team and associated parties.
Overcome complex design and project management challenges.
Ability to present engineering reports to council or board meetings.

Job Requirements

Licensed professional engineer in the state of Texas with 2+ years of professional engineering. experience with an emphasis on public works.
Prepare proposals and schedules for multi-phase and multi-discipline projects.
Excellent organizational skills to provide proactive steps, meet schedules, and address potential issues.
Thorough knowledge of local requirements and procedures.
Strong work ethic with a desire to work in a fast-paced, productive environment.
Detail-oriented with the ability to complete multi-step tasks.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure effective communication with all parties.
Excels with Public speaking.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Job Description

• Work closely with supervisor and other civil engineering personnel on various civil projects.
• Assist in preparing designs, plans, specifications, estimates, bid documents, and reports.
• Perform data analysis and engineering calculations in support of project design.
• Write technical engineering design reports.
• Conduct field investigations during design and construction as needed.
• Coordinate with sub-consultant professionals in other disciplines for project support.
• Additional duties as required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Civil Engineering or related field.

Job Description

Serve as team leader for a variety of hydrology and hydraulics studies including master drainage plans, no impact analysis, mitigation studies, river and floodplain evaluations, and other advanced H&H analyses.
Manage the preparation of drainage reports, feasibility studies, FEMA map revisions, and public presentations.
Utilize advanced mapping and hydrologic and hydraulic design software programs to assist in project analysis and design.
Coordinate with local, state, and federal review agencies to ensure design meets requirements and protects the public while still delivering value to the client and exceeding their expectations.
Mentor young engineers and EITs to cultivate a productive, healthy team environment and provide quality assurance and quality control feedback.
Represent the company in business development activities with potential clients and community leaders and actively seek future projects.
Prepare scope of work, proposals, and schedules for multi-phase projects.
Work towards higher management opportunities within the company including Hydrology and Hydraulics Department Manager.

Job Requirements

Licensed professional engineer in the state of Texas with 8 or more years of post-graduate experience with an emphasis on Hydrology and Hydraulics.
Technical understanding of hydrology and hydraulics and proficiency in HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, Bentley products, ArcGIS, XPSWMM, and Excel.
Strong work ethic with a desire to work in a fast-paced, productive environment.
Detail-oriented with the ability to complete multi-step tasks and overcome complex design and project management challenges.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure effective communication with all parties.
Excellent organizational skills to provide proactive steps, meet schedules, address potential issues, and handle multiple project deadlines.
Thorough knowledge of local, state, and federal drainage requirements and procedures including thorough knowledge of FEMA and floodplain management regulations.
